Organized by the Almaty City Public Health Department at the Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Center. Lectures were delivered by a guest specialist from Israel — Michal Simchen, M.D., an expert in maternal-fetal medicine, Director of Obstetrics Departments, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sheba Medical Center (Israel).

In addition to the lectures, there were discussions on current issues, a brief tour of the perinatal center, and patient examinations in the late stages of pregnancy. This project required extensive work with highly specialized medical terminology.

Triage is a system for prioritizing medical care for victims, particularly in mass casualty scenarios, including:
The training included a practical exercise, simulating a road traffic accident, during which participants conducted medical triage of the victims independently.

This was my first experience in medical simultaneous interpretation, and it was a true professional challenge: requiring high concentration, accuracy, speed, and specialized terminology. But projects like this are what make us stronger and broaden our professional horizons.
